How long should a URL be?
Browsers support long URLs, but shorter links are easier to read, copy, share and debug. A URL above roughly 200 characters is worth reviewing, especially for print, email and social use.
Which parameters does the cleaner detect?
It recognizes UTM parameters and common click identifiers such as fbclid, gclid, msclkid, ttclid and several email-platform tracking IDs.
Will the tool remove affiliate or product IDs?
No by default. Unknown and functional parameters stay in the URL. Always review the preserved-parameter group before using the cleaned link.
Is my URL sent to LinkDirect?
