Session storage is normally deleted when the browser session ends.
6. Analytics cookies
With your consent where required, LinkDirect may use Google Analytics to understand:
which pages are visited;
how visitors navigate the website;
general device and browser information;
approximate location;
traffic source;
website performance and engagement.
Google may set or access cookies and process technical information according to its own privacy terms.
Analytics should remain disabled where consent is required and has not been given.
7. Marketing cookies
With your consent where required, LinkDirect may use Meta Pixel to measure website activity and understand the effectiveness of advertising.
Meta may receive information such as:
visited page;
browser and device information;
IP address;
event time;
referral information;
cookie or advertising identifiers generated by Meta.
Marketing technologies should remain disabled where consent is required and has not been given.
8. Smart link click tracking
The LinkDirect smart link routing service generally does not need to place a persistent advertising cookie on the device of the person clicking a link.
The routing service may process technical request information and may use temporary session storage for deduplication and correct flow operation.
Click and routing data are described in the LinkDirect Privacy Policy.
LinkDirect does not use its smart link flow to place or restore an affiliate cookie belonging to the destination website. Any cookies created after reaching a destination are controlled by that destination website or its providers.
9. Managing your preferences
Where a cookie banner is displayed, you may be able to:
accept optional cookies;
reject optional cookies;
choose between analytics and marketing categories;
change or withdraw your choice later.
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, dashboard access, or other requested functionality.
10. Third-party cookies
Third parties such as Google, Meta, Stripe, or Cloudflare may use their own cookies or similar technologies when their services are displayed or used.
Third-party cookies are controlled by the relevant provider and are subject to that provider’s privacy information.
Stripe may use cookies during checkout or when opening the billing portal for fraud prevention, security, and payment processing.
